Searched at the GZ for about 10 minutes but then had to give up owing to a tight schedule (I was on my way back from my expedition to the 2019-08-01 51 -1 geohashpoint but only had limited time before I had to get on with some work in the afternoon).

Amazed that this hasn’t seen more footfall in its 3-month life, but part of the reason might be the inaccurate coordinates: I searched in vain for some time before reading walk tall’s log which suggested that I ought to look closer to N 51° 51.882′ W 001° 28.304′, where I found it quite quickly – suggest that the cache is moved or the coordinates amended!

A moderately easy find this afternoon while on my way back from my expedition to the nearby 2019-08-01 51 -1 geohashpoint; I needed the hint to reassure me that I was looking in the right place before I pushed my hand through the prickly bushes at the GZ. TFTC.

Dropped by following TomTrxsh’s log implying there was a problem with the cache container, but it seems to be fine. The lids on this kind of container can be completely removed but are easy to put back on one you know the trick to it – see my video for a tutorial.

My partner fleeblewidget and I have been cycling around Scotland as part of celebrations of the twelfth anniversary of us becoming a couple (a relationship that started in Edinburgh). On the way, we’ve been cherry-picking some of the most-interesting geocaches to hunt for as we’ve travelled.

After cycling our last leg from Glasgow to Edinburgh yesterday, we spent today visiting parts of the city we’d not seen before, including the hidden gem that is Craigmillar Castle. Fortunately, fleeblewidget has a life membership of English Heritage and as a result of a reciprocal arrangement with Scottish Heritage, and so our entry to this wonderful medieval castle was free of charge. An extended exploration of the grounds found us the relevant spot where we took the pictures attached. Email to the CO with the challenge answers will follow soon.

Found with fleeblewidget at the start of our anniversary break cycling around Scotland. Our sleeper train got cancelled (grr) so we arrived from London on a rail replacement coach (ugh) and started our morning exploring the necropolis and finding this little cache. Super easy find, TFTC!
